You can help the victims of thousands of disasters across the country each year, disasters like wildfires, floods, and hurricanes, by making a financial gift to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund. This Fund enables the Red Cross to provide shelter, food, counseling and other assistance to victims of disasters. The American Red Cross honors donor intent. If you wish to designate your donation to a specific disaster please do so at the time of your donation by either contacting 1-800-HELP NOW or mailing your donation, with the designation, to the American Red Cross, P.O. Box 37243, Washington, D.C. 20013. Thanks to the generosity of the American public, the American Red Cross has essentially met the costs of the California wildfires.

The concept behind Charity Begins at Home, Inc. is to raise funds and directly allocate these funds to charitable agencies in the tri-state area, thus bypassing the huge administrative costs associated with the larger national organizations.  Charity Begins at Home, Inc. was first organized in 1978 and funded primarily by monies from concerts through the efforts of Mr. William Joel. For the past several years, other organizations such as motorcycle groups, Q104 Radio Station, recording studios and many public high schools have held events to raise funds for Charity Begins at Home, Inc.
