ASBESTOS ABATEMENT
What is asbestos and why is it dangerous?
Asbestos is a mineral that was used as a building material before its hazards were discovered. It can cause lung disease when its dust is inhaled. From 1919-1990, about 70% of insulation in the US had asbestos.
In 1978, the EPA banned the use of Asbestos in construction. Installers, who already owned asbestos materials, were permitted to use them in construction until 1986.
Due to its dangerous nature, it requires specialized techniques for safe removal. CLEANING: A contents cleaning technician restores salvageable items to pre-loss condition. Deodorization techniques are used as required.
INVENTORY: We accurately assess, document, and digitally photograph the items we have in storage, with a complete written inventory of items in storage.
HANDLING: Our team carefully and safely re-packs and loads your contents and possessions into our climate controlled warehouse vaults.
STORAGE: We securely store your personal property in a locked container — on- or off-site — until repairs and reconstruction are complete.
PACK-BACK: Our team assembles all furniture as required, and place everything in its respective position when repairs are complete.
